Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Short version: we only use one cookie, it's essential, and it keeps you logged in. No tracking, no ads, no creepiness.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They're used for things like keeping you logged in between page loads. Some cookies are essential for the site to work. Others are used for advertising, analytics, or tracking your behaviour across multiple websites — we don't use those.

2. Cookies We Use

onePost sets exactly one cookie: a session cookie managed by Supabase, our authentication provider.

Name

sb-[project]-auth-token

Purpose

Keeps you logged in

Type

Essential · Session

This cookie is strictly necessary for the application to function. Without it, you cannot stay logged in and the app will not work.

What we do NOT use:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Third-party tracking or social media pixels
  • Any cookie that tracks you across other websites

3. How to Control Cookies

You can view, block, and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here's how to do it in the most common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

If you clear the onePost session cookie, you will be logged out. The next time you visit and log in, a new session cookie will be created.

Because we only use an essential cookie, blocking it will prevent onePost from working at all. There's no way to opt out of it and still use the service — it's the mechanism that keeps your session alive.
