Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These are the rules for using onePost. They're written to be understood, not to be weaponised against you. The short version: use the product fairly, own your content, and don't try to break things.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using onePost in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the product. These terms apply to all users — free and paid.

2. Description of Service

onePost is an AI-powered content repurposing tool. You give it a piece of long-form content — a blog post, article, YouTube video transcript, or blog URL — and it generates platform-optimised posts for LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Newsletter, and SEO, depending on your plan.

The AI generation is powered by Groq's API. The quality of outputs depends on the quality of your input and is inherently probabilistic — results may vary. We don't guarantee that every generated post will be perfect.

3. Account Registration

To use onePost, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share them
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Each account is for one person. onePost is a personal productivity tool, not a team product (team plans are on the roadmap). Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use onePost to:

  • Generate or distribute illegal content of any kind
  • Generate spam at scale with the intent to harm others, flood platforms, or deceive people in a damaging way
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models, prompts, or system architecture
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit limits, or plan restrictions through automated means or account manipulation
  • Share account access with multiple people — your account is personal to you
  • Use the service to generate content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights

Common sense applies. I built this tool to help content creators save time. Use it for that.

5. Subscription & Payments

Plans

onePost offers a free plan with 10 credits per month, a Starter plan at $9/month with 100 credits, and a Pro plan at $29/month with unlimited credits and additional features.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise Paystack to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in USD.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day satisfaction window. If you're unhappy with your first paid month within 14 days of subscribing, contact us and we'll refund it — no questions asked. After that initial period, refunds are not issued for remaining billing cycles or unused credits.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation stops future billing immediately. You'll retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period.

Credits

Credits reset monthly on your billing date. Unused credits do not roll over.

6. Content Ownership

You own everything. The content you paste into onePost is yours. The posts the AI generates for you are yours. We make no claim on any of it.

By using onePost, you grant us a limited licence to process your content through our systems for the purpose of generating your requested outputs. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit does not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights held by others.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep onePost online and responsive at all times. In reality, software has downtime — for maintenance, unexpected bugs, or third-party service outages (Supabase, Groq, Vercel, Paystack). We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service.

We may update, add, or remove features at any time. For significant changes that affect how the service works, we'll provide reasonable notice via email or in-app notifications where possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

onePost is a solo-founded indie product provided “as is.” I've put real effort into making it reliable, but I can't accept liability for:

  • Loss of revenue, business opportunities, or profits due to service downtime
  • Decisions you make based on AI-generated content
  • Issues arising from third-party services (Paystack, Groq, Supabase, Vercel)
  • Data loss resulting from events outside our control

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to onePost in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms — particularly around abuse, spam generation, or circumventing plan limits. In serious cases, termination may happen without advance notice. Where possible, we'll give you a heads-up and a chance to fix the issue first.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from your use of onePost will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts, unless otherwise required by the law of your jurisdiction.

11. Contact

For questions about these Terms, email 0nepost@zohomail.com. I'm a real person and I read every email.
