Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This is a plain-English privacy policy written by the person who built onePost. I'll tell you exactly what data I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it — no legalese, no hidden surprises.
1. Introduction
onePost is an AI-powered content repurposing tool. It's built and operated by onePost, based in Nigeria. When you use onePost, you're trusting me with some of your data, and I take that seriously.
This policy explains what information I collect when you use onePost, how I use it, and what rights you have. If anything is unclear, email me at 0nepost@zohomail.com and I'll explain it in plain English.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your name and email address via Supabase Auth. If you sign up with Google, we receive whatever Google shares (typically your name, email, and profile picture). We store your name and email — not your Google credentials.
Usage Data
We track how you use the service: how many repurposes you've made, which platforms you've used, your credit usage, and your subscription plan. This helps us enforce plan limits and understand which features are useful.
Payment Information
Payments are handled entirely by Paystack. We never see, receive, or store your card number, CVV, or any sensitive payment details. What we do store is your Paystack customer ID (a reference number Paystack gives us) so we can manage your subscription.
Content You Submit
When you paste text, submit a URL, or link a YouTube video, that content is sent to Groq's API for AI processing in real-time. The output — your repurposed posts — is saved to your account history so you can reference it later. You can delete individual history entries or your entire account at any time.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process your repurpose requests using AI
- To enforce plan limits and track credit usage
- To manage your subscription and process payments via Paystack
- To send transactional emails — things like receipts, account notices, and password resets. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in. We do not sell your email to anyone.
- To understand how people use onePost so I can improve it — based on aggregate usage patterns, not individual snooping.
4. Data Storage
Your account data (name, email, plan, usage history, repurpose history) is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, which runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. The onePost application itself is hosted on Vercel.
Both Supabase and Vercel follow industry-standard security practices. Access to the database is protected by row-level security policies — your data is only accessible to you and to server-side processes that run under your authenticated session.
5. Third-Party Services
onePost relies on the following third-party services to function:
Supabase
Authentication and database. Handles your login session and stores your account data securely.
Groq API
AI content processing. Your submitted content is sent to Groq's servers to generate the repurposed posts. Groq processes this in real-time. We do not retain your content on Groq's platform beyond what's needed for the API call. Groq's own privacy policy governs their handling.
Paystack
Payment processing. All billing, subscription management, and card data is handled by Paystack. We never touch your card details.
Vercel
Application hosting. Our server-side code runs on Vercel's infrastructure.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — your data is visible in your account dashboard at any time
- Update — change your name or email in Settings
- Delete — request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us
- Export — ask for a copy of your data by contacting us
To exercise any of these rights, email 0nepost@zohomail.com. I'll respond within 7 days.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised or aggregated data (e.g. total repurposes across the platform) may be retained for statistical purposes but cannot be linked back to you.
Paystack may retain billing records independently of us, in accordance with their own data retention policies.
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged in. This is an essential cookie — without it, the app cannot function. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tracking cookies, or any third-party tracking pixels.
If you clear your cookies, you will be logged out and will need to sign in again. That's it. No cookie banner, no creepy tracking.
See the full Cookie Policy for more detail.
9. Changes to This Policy
If I make meaningful changes to this policy, I'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, I'll send a notice to your account email. Continuing to use onePost after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
10. Contact
